Venla Bernelius

Dr Venla Bernelius is a Senior Specialist at the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture and a Docent of Urban Geography at the University of Helsinki. At the Ministry, Bernelius works with topics of educational analysis, research-based development and educational equality. She recently coordinated the Finnish “School for Tomorrow” –project, which created a new vision for basic education in the context of fast technological and societal change.
