About us

Minibladet is a news magazine for and by children. For over 10 years, we have inspired children to read news and increase their knowledge of the world around them. Minibladet's news site is free, ad-free and accessible, so that all children can participate regardless of their circumstances. For us, children's own news is just as important as news from the world. Ahead of the election, Minibladet, together with schools and libraries throughout Sweden, gives children and young people the opportunity to work with journalism and democracy. In the initiative The Election is Ours, children can take part in MIK material that promotes reading, current news and concrete assignments that strengthen reading, source criticism, commitment and participation. Children's voices are heard - while they learn how democracy works.
