Digital Reading Buddy in English

Talkamatic has developed an AI-driven Digital Reading Buddy that enables human-like and accurate dialogues to support students in their reading comprehension. This tool acts as a personal conversation partner, asking developmental questions created by educators, which increases students' engagement, linguistic ability, and critical thinking. The Reading Buddy, built on research from the Universities of Gothenburg and Örebro, is currently being implemented in English to give students new opportunities to practice oral communication and reading comprehension in another language.
