A new survey from the non-profit educational organization Ung Företagsamhet shows that high school students in Sweden are demanding a school that connects theory to reality to a greater extent. A full 36 percent of students want more practice in understanding how the knowledge they learn in school can be used in life outside the classroom. “We see a clear message from young people: they want to understand why they are learning what they are doing. They long to see the connection between school and reality,” says Tove Jarl, CEO of Ung Företagsamhet.

The platform makes it easier to make informed decisions by combining personalized recommendations, current admission statistics, and interactive tools. Students receive tailored suggestions based on their strengths, interests, and goals. They can compare schools and programs side by side, see admission statistics, and quickly get answers from an AI assistant about eligibility, program content, and more. A short interest quiz also helps discover new paths. Skoolie reduces the time spent on routine questions and frees up time for in-depth conversations. The platform offers an overview of students' merit scores, eligibility, and choices, and provides automatic comparisons against current admission statistics. This gives counselors a better basis for follow-up, prioritization, and reporting. Through integration with the school's student registry, Skoolie can automatically retrieve student data, calculate merit scores, and display eligibility status without manual administration. Skoolie is developed in close collaboration with SYVars and students across the country to ensure that the technology makes a real difference – in every guidance conversation.

Skoolie gives adult students a clear overview of education and career paths tailored to their goals, professional background and life situation. Participants can quickly see eligibility, compare their grades with current admission statistics and explore which career opportunities open up after completing their education. With AI support, they receive personal suggestions based on interests, experiences and goals – from municipal adult education and vocational college to higher studies and jobs. The platform collects information about course offerings, study pace and municipality, with the option to save favorites, share data with guidance counselors and create professional CVs via a built-in template. For SYV, Skoolie creates a complete digital workspace with a holistic view of each participant – grades, goals, professional experience and notes from interviews. The AI-powered SYV assistant suggests education and professions based on the participant's profile, highlights eligibility gaps and provides merit value forecasts against current admission statistics. The platform covers the entire adult education ecosystem – municipal adult education, vocational college, university, folk high school, AUB and jobs. Skoolie also handles automatic grade translations between old and new systems and integrates with the school's student register to avoid manual administration. Grönska’s cultivation solution is an innovative platform that has not previously been available in the school environment. It combines two worlds: education and local food production. By letting students grow sustainable crops indoors while exploring biology, sustainable development, and technology in practice, a completely new type of learning environment is created for schools. The impact goes beyond the cultivation itself. Students eat more greens, become inspired to grow at home, and start asking questions about the environment, sustainability, biodiversity, and food.

Imvi Labs offers a unique patented solution to enhance students' reading and concentration abilities by training and strengthening eye coordination and. visual attention. The method is based on scientific research done in collaboration with researchers at Karolinska Institutet. Eye coordination is trained using a mobile app and VR glasses by watching streamed content from SVT Play, UR, Binogi and YouTube. The training is combined with in-app tests of reading speed and vergence tests. With as little as 15 minutes of training, 4 times per week and a minimum of 12 weeks, sustainable improvements are achieved. The exact duration is evaluated individually. Already after only 2 hours of training, all the participants in a study showed significant improvements in eye-coordination. So far all that have completed at least 12 weeks of training, have achieved reading speed improvements. We have successfully trained students with vergence problems, dyslexia, adhd, dld, reading and concentration problems as well as those not suffering from any problems. The app and the tests are currently available in Swedish, English and Finnish, while the training itself can be done in any language with YouTube. Eye-coordination problems impact 10% of the population. However, when we have screened entire classes and schools, we have seen 40-60% of the students indicating problems with their eye-coordination.

Each course focuses on the most relevant features of each tool and shows how they can be used professionally in a school context. ChatGPT for Schools – developed by Nima Zaerzadeh A practical course on how ChatGPT can be used for planning, student-focused support, text processing, communication, and source criticism. The course is based on classroom-ready approaches and a responsible, pedagogical use of AI. Copilot for Schools – developed by Martin Sörensson A course that demonstrates how Copilot can streamline work within the Microsoft environment and create better structure in daily school operations. The focus is on how AI can support both creativity and organization in teaching and administration. Gemini for Schools – developed by Phillip Gullberg A course on how Google’s AI tools can be used for teaching, planning, analysis, and search, adapted to schools’ digital environments.
