Smoothwall Cloud Filter is the web filter that sits directly in the client without compromising on functions. You're up and running in no time.
Smoothwall Safeguarding, which is part of our web filters, allows schools to act quickly if, for example, you notice that a student is on web pages that are about drugs (including cannabis) or if the content is about various self-harm behaviors, there are several other categories such as radicalization that also raise alarms. These pages do not need to be blocked, the alarm goes off regardless.
Try searching for example "buy drugs online" and you will notice that there are many pages in Swedish that sell from Sweden and the drugs are often sent in envelopes with a stamp.
Smoothwall Safeguarding gives an immediate alarm if you do a search such as "How to commit suicide", then a direct alarm is sent via email and/or SMS, this alarm can also go to e.g. the school nurse etc.

The teacher can also send out one or more links to web pages that the students should take a closer look at. This means that all students quickly get to the right page, no problems with spelling etc.

Smoothwall Cloud Filter Smoothwall Cloud Filter means that you do not need to have a web filter in your server room, the content filter is now instead on the client machine via an extension or an installation. Smoothwall Cloud Filter has the same features as Smoothwall Filter, except Proxy and antimalware. Smoothwall Cloud Filter (Cloud Filter) works today with Chromebooks, PC, Ipad and MAC. You do not need a local Smoothwall (or in the cloud) but many choose this because you need a local firewall for BYOD. Smoothwall Cloud Filter works even if your Smoothwall installation is offline and even if the cloud service at Smoothwall is offline. Only a Google Account or a Microsoft account is required to authenticate users. Support is available for both Microsoft AD and Microsoft Azure AD.
