About us
PictureMyLife is a digital diary that gives children and young people with communication difficulties their own voice. Through clear visual support and a simple, secure interface, communication between the child, school, and family becomes easier and more meaningful. By sharing everyday life, PictureMyLife increases participation, understanding, and a sense of security for everyone around the child.
PictureMyLife was created out of a real need. The idea came from a mother of a son with Down syndrome who experienced how the traditional communication notebook between home and school was often lost, damaged, and—most importantly—could not be used independently by her son. That frustration became the starting point for something new.
What began as a personal solution has today grown into an established tool used in schools and organizations across several countries, with the same core mission: to make everyday life more understandable and communication possible for children and people with communication difficulties.

A digital diary / app
PictureMyLife works on mobile phones, tablets, and computers. The ability to share everyday events creates a sense of security, participation, and greater understanding. All data is stored in Sweden.
Kommunikation genom foto, film och ljud
Den digitala dagboken PictureMyLife gör det möjligt för barn och ungdomar med funktionsnedsättningar att uttrycka sig genom bilder, film, ljud och text. Vi stödjer skolor, familjer och verksamheter i att skapa struktur, dokumentation och meningsfull kommunikation i vardagen.
Kommunikation genom AKK
I den digitala dagboken PictureMyLife arbetar vi med AKK (alternativ och kompletterade kommunikation) genom bildstöd som Widgit, Pictogram och Ritade tecken för att stärka förståelse, delaktighet och kommunikation.
