Welcome to Knowgaps: the 360 assessment platform that gives you more time for each student

Knowgaps brings together three established concepts in one single solution: capturing students’ reasoning, efficient test management, and individualized follow-up. The result is a unique tool that helps you develop mathematics instruction, and soon all STEM subjects, while saving time and resources across the entire school organization.

How it works
Teachers can create their own tests or use ready-made assessments from a task bank containing 30,000+ solutions and explanations. Students complete tests digitally by writing and drawing directly in the platform. Our proprietary Pedagogical AI automatically evaluates both answers and reasoning, supports formative assessment, and generates individualized recommendations for each student. Teachers always review and approve the feedback before it is shared with students.
Results and statistics update in real time and can be followed at the student, class, and school levels. In this way, students move from a knowledge gap to a knowledge boost.

Secure, proprietary AI
Knowgaps is a sister product to the math learning app Mathleaks and is built on more than 10 years of development together with teachers and textbook authors in Sweden and the United States. Knowgaps’ Pedagogical AI is entirely proprietary and trained on the company’s own high-quality educational data. Unlike many other AI tools, Knowgaps does not rely on external AI systems or wrappers. All student data is securely stored within the EU in accordance with current regulations.
