About us
Booster Robotics was founded in August 2023. It is an embodied intelligence company that combines 20 years of R&D experience in bipedal humanoid robotics hardware with the system engineering capabilities of leading internet companies. Within just one year of its establishment, Booster Robotics achieved stable global mass production and delivery, shipping hundreds of units in the first half of 2025 to universities and research institutes in over 20 countries, with over 50% of its business coming from overseas markets. Now celebrating its second anniversary, Booster Robotics is already one of the companies with the highest delivery volume in the industry.
Booster Robotics’ core products — the Booster T1 (for research scenarios) and Booster K1 (for education and home applications) — supported multiple teams to win championships at the 2025 World Humanoid Robotics Games Federation. At the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Conference, Booster-powered teams swept all medals in both the 3v3 and 5v5 pure AI robot soccer categories. Using robot soccer competitions as its primary technical validation platform, Booster Robotics focuses on hardware systems, operating systems, and developer tools, lowering the barrier to entry for developers. Its goal is to build a personal robot ecosystem and bring humanoid robots into everyday households.
The Booster Robotics team is composed of members from the Tsinghua University Robotics Control Lab, the Tsinghua University's Hephaestus team, and leading internet companies such as ByteDance and RED note. The team’s core members include veteran experts with two decades of humanoid robotics experience, young engineers with deep hardware and software expertise, and commercial professionals skilled at translating technology and products into market success. This hybrid structure — combining “Tsinghua-grade deep tech” with “internet product thinking” — is the core competitive advantage of Booster Robotics.
In 2024, Booster Robotics secured Angel, Pre-A, and Pre-A+ funding rounds from InnoAngel Fund, Tianjin Venture Capital, Zhencheng Capital, Shuimu Alumni Seed Fund, Source Code Capital, Shuimu Venture Partners, Yinggang Capital, iCANX, Zhongguancun Science City Co., New Hualian Group, and CMBC International.
By June 2025, the company completed its Series A round, led by Shenzhen Capital Group (SCGC) with participation from Jinding Capital. In July 2025, Booster Robotics closed its Series A+ round, led by the Beijing Robotics Industry Development Fund (managed by Shoucheng Holdings Limited), with co-investment from the Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Fund and Beijing Bohua Capital Co.
