Founded in 1992 by a family with visually impaired children, we have since inception been focused on supporting those students who need a bit of extra care! The necessity to support students with special needs is growing in most countries. We are following that trend to constantly increase our contribution to educational systems around the world. What Do We Do? ILT’s products range from kindergarten to adult education. We focus on building literacy skills from an early age, supporting both children’s home language and the majority language in their schooling systems. Our products also provide assistance to those whose reading skills are lagging behind and need support to keep up with their schooling.

Imvi Labs offers a unique patented method to enhance students' reading and concentration abilities by training and strengthening eye coordination. The method is based on scientific research done in collaboration with researchers at Karolinska Institutet. Eye coordination is trained using a mobile app and VR glasses by watching streamed content from SVT Play, UR, Binogi and YouTube. The training is combined with in-app tests of reading speed and vergence tests. With as little as 15 minutes of training, 4 times per week and a minimum of 12 weeks, sustainable improvements are achieved. The exact duration is evaluated individually. Already after only 2 hours of training, all the participants in a study showed significant improvements in eye-coordination. So far all that have completed at least 12 weeks of training, have achieved reading speed improvements. We have successfully trained students with vergence problems, dyslexia, adhd, dld, reading and concentration problems as well as those not suffering from any problems. The app and the tests are currently available in Swedish, English and Finnish, while the training itself can be done in any language with YouTube. Eye-coordination problems impact 10% of the population. However, when we have screened entire classes and schools, we have seen 40-60% of the students indicating problems with their eye-coordination.
