Here the students have the chance to be taken seriously and to present their innovation to those who are knowledgeable and interested! All kinds of innovations are welcome. All competition entries submitted to Unga innovatörer are assessed by professional reviewers. A jury consisting of professionals who work with innovations, as entrepreneurs or with intellectual property rights selects the winners.
The competition takes place in two classes: grades 6-9 and gymnasieskolan.
The competition’s history stretches back more than 40 years and since its inception over 100,000 students have competed. In 2021, the competition changed its name from Finn upp to Årets unga innovatör. The finalists are invited to the innovation gala in May each year to be named “Årets unga innovatör” in several categories.
