Nordic Track

For Nordic school leaders

Nordic Track is created for school leaders, educators, policymakers, and technological innovators to meet, share insights, and learn from each other. Our goal is to promote a stronger and more cohesive Nordic educational community and willingness to collaborate, drawing lessons from our similarities to meet future demands.

Nordic Track at Sett is a unique meeting place focused on strengthening cooperation between the Nordic education systems. In an era where technology is reshaping the way we learn, it is crucial for us as Nordic countries to identify our common values, challenges, and potential.

Theme of the Year

Democratic Resilience
- education in an age of AI and societal change

In a time of rapid technological development, increasing polarisation, and growing exposure to misinformation and disinformation, education plays a critical role in strengthening democratic resilience. Schools and early childhood education must not only adopt new technologies such as artificial intelligence, but also ensure that these tools are used in ways that support understanding, equity, and democratic values.

Through perspectives on AI readiness, future competencies, and evolving learning environments, the conference highlights how strategic leadership and research-informed practice. By focusing on critical thinking, media and information literacy, and democratic participation, Sett 2026 aims to support educators and decision-makers in building education systems that enable every learner to succeed — and to actively participate in democratic societies across the Nordic region.
