How do we cope with the task of improving eligibility for upper secondary school regardless of the students’ socio-economic background?
In school, the socio-economic background of children and pupils has gained increased importance for how they succeed in school. Children and students must be given the conditions to succeed in school, regardless of place of residence and the family’s socio-economic situation.
The education office in Sollentuna municipality has developed a process for data on a map where the students’ socio-economic context based on living conditions is made visible on a map. Data on the map helps us see how we can deploy early interventions in the different levels of the force chain. Data on the map visualizes the registered students in Sollentuna regardless of which school they attend.
