The Safer Sweden Foundation is an independent, non-profit think tank established in 2008. It seeks to contribute new solutions, ideas, and forms of cooperation to reduce crime and increase safety. A key objective is to ensure that everyone affected by crime receives help and support and protection. Our vision is for Sweden to be a safe country to live and grow up in for everyone.
The foundation does not receive public grants and works independently of the state and municipality. Instead, our activities are financed partly through various CSR and sustainability partnerships with companies that consider it important to contribute to a safer society and partly through our own income-generating consultancy activities, where all surpluses are reinvested in the Foundation.
