We live in a rapidly changing world, where working life is being reshaped and industries such as services, transport and trade are undergoing a rapid digital transformation. New behaviours are being established and entire professional groups need new and different knowledge, skills and qualifications. As teachers, preschool teachers and school leaders, you have an important role to play in navigating towards this moving target that is constantly evolving. At SETT, we want to help you set the compass.

Why your colleagues visited SETT 2024!

We at Rösjöskolan have a planning and results analysis day on 16 April. We will spend part of the day at SETT to strengthen our external analysis as part of competence development. We think this is part of our school's development and sharpening our teaching strategies for lifelong learning. In this way, we "kill two birds with one stone" as lifelong learning applies to both students, but also to all adults working at the school.

We do this as a competence development initiative in Nybro municipality where we send, among other things, 12 ICT educators to SETT. The idea behind this is that the SETT fair is an excellent forum for skills development and business intelligence for our ICT educators, where they can gain new knowledge and network both internally and externally. The ICT educators then take the knowledge home and spread it further in our organisation through collegial learning. Also on the trip are development strategists and our head of school.

We are a team that sees the chance to get new ideas and inspiration during SETT in April. We focus on putting the learner at the centre, but this is not always easy. So we are looking for ideas and experiences of how colleagues work with learning. And, of course, AI is very popular right now. The University of Åland is participating with about ten people at the Sett Days in April 2024.

We have several purposes with our participation at SETT. Firstly, our 29 schools are spread out from Kalix to Landskrona and SETT will be a good opportunity for us to let our schools' digitalisation managers network with each other. We also want our fantastic teachers to have the opportunity to explore the world and be inspired about learning in a digitalised world. We are in the process of implementing a joint progression plan for digital skills and AI, and this year's conference programme is a perfect fit. Our school directors and several of our principals will also visit SETT.

Extensive conference program

The conference at SETT offers you, your colleagues, and co-workers the opportunity to listen to lectures, participate in interactive workshops, and network with like-minded individuals. The conference aims to enhance the competence provision for professionals in preschool and school, with the goal of improving the quality of education. Choose from several sessions and plan for rewarding days at SETT.

Interactive exhibition

The exhibition at SETT provides you with inspiration, practical tips, and product news. In addition to companies in innovative and digital learning, you’ll also find municipalities, associations, and start-ups present. SETT is an active, buzzing, and inspiring meeting place where companies invite you to popup classes, discussions, competitions, etc. A perfect opportunity to network with colleagues in the world of education and engage in peer learning!

In a time when our world is becoming increasingly digitalized and much of our communication takes place online, the significance of face-to-face meetings has never been greater. The pandemic and rising digitalization have taught us a lot about adaptation and flexibility, but they have also reminded us of the importance of a social network and quality interactions. Stort, gediget konferensprogram

SETT har ett gediget konferensprogram som riktar sig till dig som är lärare eller pedagog i skola, förskola, anpassad skola och fritidshem. Programmet är också för skolans chefer, beslutsfattare eller andra befattningar med utvecklingsuppdrag. På scen avhandlas intressanta och innovativa kunskaper, erfarenheter och fenomen som rör det moderna lärandet. Allt från ren pedagogik, modernt lärande, kreativitet, lärmiljöns betydelse och sociala medier till mer praktiknära exempel. Även ledarskapets betydelse, forskning samt utveckling, systemintegrering, lärmiljöns betydelse, kvalitetssäkring, framtidskompetenser med mera lyfts.

Interaktiv utställning

I mässhallen har vi över 150 utställande företag som på ett eller annat sätt arbetar för att utveckla, digitalisera och förenkla skolans värld. Här får du möjlighet att uppleva deras produkter och tjänster på plats, få presentationer och ta möjligheten att ställa de olika alternativen mot varandra – under ett och samma tak. Utställningen har utvecklats till en aktiv mötesplats där utställarna bjuder in till föreläsningar, popup-klasser, diskussioner och tävlingar! Här kan du ta del av det senaste från leverantörerna som förser skolan med alla sorters material/möbler/hårdvara etc. I samarbete med alla utställare kan vi årligen bjuda in till ett gediget monterprogram.

Face-to-face i en digitaliserad värld
